According to the Mayan calendar and predictions by Nostradamus, the world will end on December 21st, 2012. A scary thought considering the direction the world seems to be heading each and every day. Could it be true?
A movie is currently in production about the day called “2012: The War For the Souls”. The movie will be about a door that opens to a parallel world on that fateful day of December 12 2012 and it will be directed by Michael Bay - director of the hit movie Transformers. By the way, Bay has already signed on to produce Transformers 2 which has a scheduled release of June 29th 2009. Talk about planning ahead!
Back to the all important day… for the first time in 26,000 years, on the day of the winter solstice, the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way. The stream of energy usually directed to the earth from the Milky Way’s center will be disrupted. Most scientists agree that there will be environmental implications that could include volcanic activity, solar flares, polar reversals causing other disasters, earthquakes and more. Extremists think the disasters will be so severe it will wipe out the human race.
